Ron Suresha the well know author and anthologist of books centering on gay and bisexual men's subcultures, particularly the Bear community and his husband Rocco came down from their new home in the "mountains" of Connecticut to attend the NYC Pride March last Sunday June 29th. Their mission was to try to meet and speak with well know gay sex columnist Dan Savage who was being honored as one of the grand marshal's.

Sadly, it wasn't a social call.

Fetish Fair Fleamarket™
2/11-13/2011
Westin Hotel
Providence, RI
NELAonline.org

Only 17 more days left before Fetish Fair Fleamarket #36!

There are still rooms left at the Westin Providence that need to be booked! NELA knows that the Westin is not the cheapest option but as the Host Hotel, the Westin has put their reputation on the line for OUR community.

NELA has tried to keep the attendance cost as low as possible to allow you to be able to stay at the hotel.  So why not share a room with current or new friends and make your FFF experience more affordable.   Consider it a Valentine's Day gift to yourself, your friends, and your community.

Every room of the hotel needs to be booked and paid for.  We all know how wonderful a full-immersion conference experience can be: where you can be yourself, dress how you'd like and be playful with all your kink friends. That’s only possible when we take over the whole hotel.  To continue to make future NELA events possible

Please book now! Call (888) 778-6334 or book online at (https://www.mmxreservations.com/NELA/reservations)

If you have problems booking, please contact NELA right away at fffvendorcoord AT gmail dot com.

If you have made your reservation and your credit card has not been charged please check with the hotel as several credit cards were rejected when the hotel attempted to make a charge and those reservations have been discarded.

My name is Christina and im from stamford CT.I identify myself as an asexual with some lesbian tendancies but im engaged to a paraplegic man(hes in a wheel chair and has no sensation from the waist down)so we are in an asexual relationship and i couldnt be happier.its ok he's not female.basicaly,my gender identification is androgynous as i feel neither male nor female so im a unique case i guess, but i thought i might fit in here and meet some similar people.

anyone else from the stamford or fairfield county area?Im looking for freinds and events that are going on in my part of town.ive been sick for the last few years so the internet is helping me get my life back in place by talking to people and going to places.i had very bad epileptic seizures that prevented me from going out much plus i am anorexic-so yes i have my problems but im trying to move on and rebuild a life.

just trying to reach out and say hello to everyone!

There are less than two weeks until the registration fee for the 2010 Transcending Boundaries Conference increases! Save $10 by registering by July 31st.

With three days of presentations, workshops, discussions and more, the 2010 conference is promising to be our best yet. We are thrilled to have author, artist and educator Lee Harrington confirmed as our keynote speaker. Lee will also be teaching two exciting workshops during the weekend. We've also confirmed Rainbow Times columnist and Miss Trans New England Lorelei Erisis, along with and stand-up comedienne Widow Centauri, to perform an entertaining and informative introduction to Transcending Boundaries. This will occur after you get a chance to socialize with other 2010 attendees at our Friday night meet and greet reception. We are also excited to once again be working with AIDS Project Worcester on a reception following the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil. The weekend's programming is still being finalized, but we've already received many exciting proposals and will be announcing confirmed details after the call for proposals deadline in August.

Ensure your spot for the conference and register early! Registration includes all three days of programming including classes, discussions and entertainment, a delicious lunch Saturday, and more. You can register at http://www.transcendingboundaries.org/registration.

We hope to see you there!
